We have been looking at bathroom accessories today, taps and sinks and toilets and baths. We have to indicate to Dario, by next week, if we want anything, other than ‘bog’ standard, different for the two bathrooms. Quite a silly question really, when did we want anything standard? Anyway we are having standard porcelain items and then putting our choice of taps etc, on them. The en-suite bathroom shower will have a glass tiled wall to allow light from the window into the shower area. We will need about thirty six glass tile bricks and it will cost around €100 extra, not too bad, except that it has to join all the other little extras that we are gathering along the way.
The builders have spent all day laying roof tiles (see picture). We think that they will by now have laid around five hundred tiles up there and they still have another couple of hundred to go to complete the roof. Perhaps by next week the building work on the roof will be complete. Then there only remains the lighting wiring electrics and television points and the roof may be finished apart from painting.
