Tuesday 13-3-2007
After a peaceful night we set off for Mojacar and the bank this morning. We called at El Pinar to see if there was any mail and then we went to a furniture store in Antas to order and pay a deposit for our lounge, hard, furniture.
As we left, the builders were starting to put up some of the balustrades above the lounge porch. When we returned (about two o’clock) they had nearly finished this section of the balustrades. Wow! does it look really good (see pictures if I can get them on line) or what? For the first time we can see what the real end result will be going to look like, fantastico!!!. The balustrades above the front porch will have to wait until after the solarium is fully waterproofed and then the tiles are laid. They still need to use the hoist that is above the front door for cement etc., which is where the balustrades will go.
On the house front it has been a brilliant day, but today the weather has been cloudy and quite chilly (only 12 degrees, bit like the UK). We are not able to remember when it was last a cloudy day.
Subject to the wind we are going dancing tonight, so we will be having another rather late night, for a change.

The stair case will be open with fancy rails, matching the reja's. I just love food parcels, put two stamps on and we'll get it quicker ;-)
