Elayne has had a sore shoulder for a while so didn’t want to play tennis this morning. I went down to HO and Mags and I played for about an hour. As we played the wind got up so that by the end of the games it was becoming difficult to play. I fully expected that when I got back to the caravan the wind would be blowing quite strongly. However I was wrong and in fact, apart a boisterous breeze, it is OK up here today with occasional cloud and bright sunshine.
The four builders have been back up here all day. The two lads that are working on the surround are cracking on at the rate of a snail on a lethargic day. I have never seen two guys get so little done in one day. They never ever actually stop working, it’s just that they work so slowly. We can’t see the other two guys, so we are not sure what they are doing inside the house until we wander up later this evening. Yesterday the inside guys really got stuck in and nearly finished putting the wall tiles on the family bathroom, they have to fully finish this and then grout the tiles today (I think). What an amazing transformation it has created from dark cement to tiles in one pass. Elayne and I are very pleased with our choice of tiles and how they look now on the walls.
