Very wet all night with the temperature at about twelve degrees. We quickly got ready this morning and zipped off down to Taberno for coffee and ‘you know what’ and then we went down to Albox. Whilst we were having coffee at Lentisco’s a young chap came in with a five day weather forecast printout. I’m not quite sure of the area covered but it could be for the whole of Andalusia. It said that from today until mid next week we will have maximums of 19-21 (I wish) with minimums of 13-14 (obviously that does not apply to Taberno. It is of some comfort to know that the locals are scratching their heads and saying it is crazy weather. When we had shopped in Albox and as we were driving up and back out of the town we saw a lady walking down the road with a green fluffy dressing gown on over her day dress. She was not concerned what we or any one thought as they passed, good for her, keep warm dear.
An observation. The area is becoming green at a rate of knots. With the rain the vegetation has woken from it’s ‘summer’ hibernation. It’s really nice to see a green hue across the ground.
Today Pip and Saphi were not really sure if they wanted to go out in the wet or just sit and watch the world go by from the caravan door, see picture.
BTW. I started a file for all of our our Spanish pictures on 16-7-2006, three days before we left the UK. The file now has over 3800 pictures in it.

Blimey its only a couple of degrees colder here and we have had no rain all week. Which was great as we had the most wonderful ride around Thetford Forest yesterday to celebrate Ollies birthday....there were 10 of us all at different riding levels and all had a great day !
We have to see if we repeat it tho as we are going back again next weekend with my brother and family!

As long as Ollie had a good day with you all. We will probably call you around five thirty this evening (your time) because we have visitors tonight.
