It rained during the night, and was cloudy and cold this morning, but no obvious sign of damp anywhere.
We went to Taberno and lent Pam and Bob our spare halogen heater for their office. We reminded them to ask Chema for an update of the quest for our permissions to build. Then we went to Albox for some bits and pieces, and to buy another cat house/bed, as Saffy has taken over the first one that Pip had decided was his .He was most annoyed to find it already occupied when he went to get in it the other night. So in the interests of fairness, they now have one eachJ
After the success of tying down the caravan the other day, we have decided that we ought to do the same to the cabin. If that blew over in a gale, the consequences would be catastrophic, so we have bought four more steel rods and ties. Paul is at this moment hammering them into the ground. We went to Albox in jumpers and coats, but it got very warm when the clouds cleared away, a pleasant 18c, so we had to shed a few garments.
It was about 3 degrees cooler in the mountains when we got back, and although a bit windy, it is still a very nice day. Guess who was going out in the rain to turn the genny off? :( (see picture)
