On our rough land we have loads of wild thyme bushes. Every time we go out across the land we brush against this and get a beautiful whiff of thyme. When the cats go out and come back again generally they will have rubbed against a thyme bush or two and they also smell of thyme. Even when the wind gently blows it is scented with thyme. One stops noticing it after a while but then all of a sudden it hits you and it’s really nice.
Overnight we had just a little wind (so we took something for it) but the barometer is settled at 1035mb and the general forecast for the next few days is ‘more of the same’. There is an ambient temperature of 16 degrees, but again in the sun it is about 23.
Elayne is outside cleaning the inside of the car and I have hovered the inside of the caravan, it must be early spring in the air.
So far today on site we have had a wagon (builder type) bringing a load of shuttering planks up and then taking some scaffolding away with them. No JCB or steels in sight.
I can't believe that they can order a cement lorry to come to site and then cancel it. I can believe that they can divert said concrete lorry to somewhere else though. It’s now 17.42 so it seems to be a lost cause today.
Well we're playing tennis tomorrow morning so sod 'em, were not available if they want us.
