The good weather has returned after a cold night. By eleven we are taking jumpers and jackets off down to ‘t’ shirts and short sleeves. It’s now twenty five to five and in the sun it is still warm but in the shade it is cooling off again fast. We did our shopping in Albox today, market day. The fruit market in the back street of Albox sells the most amazing variety of vegetables and fruit. You get cabbages that are nearly 350mm in diameter, and they are all odd shapes and sizes that a supermarket wouldn’t touch with a barge pole, but they are very fresh from the fields. We buy half kg bags of walnuts that are a delight to eat and only cost a couple of euros per bag.
There are three builders on site today, they are straightening up all the vertical pile formers before, one presumes, they pour concrete into them. They have also placed the round supports for the two porches . The formers for these are made from special cardboard tubes with quick release paper on the inside so that when the pillar is dry they can peel the tubes away.

BTW we now have at least fifteen almond trees coming into blossom, the picture is the advance party almond tree blossom. They are very beautiful against the blue sky.
