We met up with Dario in Albox at 10am this morning to re-choose stair riser tiles, he had forgotten which ones we had previously chosen, and to be fair so had I. So to his credit, for a change, he decided not to make the choice himself and then have us reject them, but to let us re-choose them and start from scratch again. Whilst we were there we also decided on the tiles for the floor of the shower.
We didn’t really mean to but Elayne said that we should visit the light shop in Albox. We have been there before and the place is a warren of rooms crammed packed with lights of every description. We ended up buying every light for the house except for the two porch lights that we had previously bought. Eighteen in total, I wouldn’t dare to tell you how much we spent, it would be far too embarrassing. We still have to get the solarium and garage lights yet, as well.
The builders are working laying the step tiles today, they have decided that they can do this now despite not yet having the risers.
It rained hard last night for a while and the wind is quite strong once more today. We have got to presume that summer will arrive some time. Perhaps it’s saving itself for when we move into the house.
