Overnight was windy but not to the extent of Thursday night so we both slept quite well, thank goodness. The high winds are really energy and moral sapping for us in the caravan. This morning it was still blowing and it was difficult to tell if it was really improving or just having ‘a lull’ in proceedings. To be sure we once again took the cats with us when we went down to Albox to do the shopping. One of us, of course, stays in the car with the cats whilst the other one shops.
The builders have been on site all day so things have progressed a little in that department, see pictures.
Through the high winds we lost Sky satellite TV yesterday morning. We presume that the dish has been dislodged a little and is no longer pointing in the correct direction. The big down side to that is I have to miss the whole week-end of the rugby Six Nations. When I telephoned the dish installer this morning and I did indicate that it would be good for them to come to fix it before three o’clock this afternoon, his comment was something like ‘not a prayer, anyway it’s better to watch the rugby in a pub’ O! how we laughed at his little quip. They will probably come next week, sometime if we are lucky. What a bummer.
