It rained today!! that’s the second time that it’s rained since we came up to Taberno (four weeks ago today). Is this setting up for a pattern of things to come?
We were out and about as usual this morning, (after the excesses of last evening, we arrived home at about two o‘clock) we came back to base early (about 12 o’clock) and spent the day catching up on all the things that are still hanging out from our time in El Pinar, off PC and off line. Before we departed from EK we bought a new all in one Lexmark, scanner, printer, fax machine that would also print pictures direct from an SD card. With our fragmented period since we bought the machine I have not got into a routine of scanning all our documents and bills etc., and then to shred the hard copies. The result is that I have had to save all the documents and letters that we have received since July (about two inches thick) and at last today I have manage to spend enough time on the computer to be able to work out how to multi page scan and save documents.
Thus when the clouds descended and the weather became rather inclement, yet again I was not too upset to be able to spend this time indoors (with all the ‘windows’ (( not a trade mark)) and doors open). I have now caught up on all the final bills and have just shredded the whole lot. Elayne played with her playstation and we both watched Strictly Come Dancing Take Two which is on BBC2 at seven thirty.
We are scheduled to go to a dance evening next week on Monday in Taberno where they teach Ballroom and Latin dancing. I have painful memories of when we went to Knaresborough to learn sequence dancing. After two hours of concentrating on my feet, I jumped back into the car and couldn’t remember how to drive. The mind boggles at how I will negotiate the rambla after an hour or so doing the Latin tango or the quick step.
