Happy Birthday to my big brother Brian Fellowes, he is XX today. Have a good day Brian, we won‘t tell anyone that you’re 86 years young, woops sorry that should read 68 years young.
Clearly the effort spent in having three builders, all at once, up on site here yesterday has taken its toll. They are all having another rest day, bless ‘em. If they worked more than four days consecutively now they would probably go to the court of human rights for being over worked. You can probably guess that we are on our own today. Whilst commenting on the lack of builders, we do of course recognise that there is actually less and less for them to do now until we have good old Carlos up here installing the rest of the electrics and kitchen etc.. I know that the builders could really make themselves useful by cleaning up the entire site, which looks like a builders yard, but I don’t honestly think that they think that this is a job that needs doing. A rude awakening will dawn when Dario wants his final payment.
Them not being here has given me the chance to level the space surrounding two sides of the utility room, so that we can now put the oil storage tank and the genny round there. Putting these two items outside will give me lots more work space inside the utility room.
