We had a meeting with Angel (pronounced Anchal) our architect up in Albox this morning. We have now given him an out line plan of what we want and he will design around our ideas and come up with a few computer plans for us to review and or revise. We will see him again on Wednesday next week to see what he has done.
We then went up to site to see how things are progressing (see pictures of the hebe and the potto). We also found our neighbour Tomo and his wife (who must be in their seventies) collecting the almonds from our trees. We tried but failed to have a conversation with them and we took a whole basket of almonds back from them, just to make a small point. Tomo also gave us two bunches of very small ground growing grapes that he had collected from his own land. We think that he has been sort of looking after the land whilst no one has been there and for his trouble has taken the fruit and nut harvest as a payment. We will ask Bob or Pam to come upto their house with us so we can come to a friendly understanding about what we want to do with our crops bearing in mind that we have also to have the use of a tractor to heavy rake around the trees to keep the weeds down and to keep the small animals away from the trees.
The lay-by sort of slip roads from the main track for the caravans has been cut now so we now really need to see at least one caravan and get it up to site as quickly as we can. We have until the twentieth at El Pinar but if push came to shove we think that we could extend this dead line, although this is would be more dead money used up.
We treated our selves to a fish, chip and mushy pea supper at the El Pinar bar last night, not too bad to say they were made by a man from Hertfordshire

Sunday - catching up on your blog. Nothing else to do as it looks as though it's going to rain most of the day again. It rained all day yesterday. Pictures of blue sky, blue sea and Elayne looking tanned and very youthful is not doing anything for our well being.

Liked the fig thing - it gave us a much needed laugh.

Keep on having fun.

We try not to enjoy it all too much in recognition of our less fortunate readers :-))))
