Date 2-7-2006 Wednesday
Everyone a little tired after the long day travelling. Tried to have a cool day but I & O found it hard to understand why they could not go out and swim between one and six (the sun is too intense and will burn badly and quickly) Anyway they swam in the morning and then we went down to the sea in the evening and then they swam again in the pool later. I think that they must have been in the water for over two hours. It’s really good to see them so at ease and confident in either the pool or the sea.
Date 3-8-2006 Thursday
I & O in the pool for the first three hours of the day. We then went to the village hostelry for a drink and to collect the mail (they let me borrow their key). After the heat of the day had passed we went down to the beech at Puerto Rey where I & O spent another two hours in the sea. It was very warm in the water and we saw one or two jelly fish so we kept a sharp look out. One jelly fish floated by the was the size of a large dinner plate. It was about half past eight (and still twenty eight degrees) by the time we got back to the rental. Guess where I & O wanted to go. They are like a pair of reptiles, they should sleep well.
